The Sweet William Double Blend 'Dianthus barbatus' is prized as a long lasting cut flower and it fills the flower void between spring bulbs but before summer annuals. The Double Blend is an attractive 18 inch dome of a myriad of beautiful flower colors. The 1/2 inch flowers occur in densely packed flattened heads 3 to 5 inches in diameter. The flowers colors are white pink rose red purplish and bicolored. Sweet Williams bloom in late spring for about 4 weeks. The Sweet William easily reseeds and is always a garden guest. |
