The Asarum American Ginger 'Asarum canadense 'American Ginger' is a wonderful ground cover that is grown for its foliage rather than it's flower. It has a plant height of 6-8" and is extremely heat tolerant. The redish to green flower blooms on `American Ginger' appear in early spring and continue into late spring. `American Ginger' will do wonderful in rock gardens or as a border. Try mixing colors of other groundcovers with `American Ginger' such as Ajuga `Chocolate Chip' or Houttuynia `Chameleon'. |
