The Geranium Midnight Reiter 'Pelargonium' has rich true blue flowers that bloom from June till August. With its beautiful dark purple foliage it has a plant width of 12" and a height of 6". (If grounded in shade the foliage turns green with purple highlights.) `Midnight Reiter' needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens container growing borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener. |
